Used my favorite (and the hottest ever) chef's recipe, Jamie Oliver--wiiith some alterations.
So instead of Parmesan, I used soft white cheese.
Instead of using thyme, I used basil. I INSIST BASIL :))
aaand the thing with the oven is just our idea. Hihi.
LET'S GET COOKY!
Chopped the bacon,garlic and onions....
Then, in a bowl went two slices of soft cheese and two egg yolks. ( the separating-the-yolk-from-the-egg-white part was fuuun). Then the whipping cream!
I tossed the bacon into the hot pan with a little olive oil while the pasta was put into the boiling salted waterr.
When the bacon was brown and crisp, I added the onion, garlic, freshly ground pepper, then basil. Yum!
I tossed the pasta to the pan with the bacon and everything, took it from the heat then added the cheesy creamy sauce.
To the oven for about 10 mins...... then VOILA! Bacon Carbonara... HIHI.
