Friday is Cooky day: Bacon Pasta!

I made Bacon Carbonara for me and my mom for lunch :)
Used my favorite (and the hottest ever) chef's recipe, Jamie Oliver--wiiith some alterations.


So instead of Parmesan, I used soft white cheese.
Instead of using thyme, I used basil. I INSIST BASIL :))
aaand the thing with the oven is just our idea. Hihi.


LET'S GET COOKY!

Chopped the bacon,garlic and onions....
Then, in a bowl went two slices of soft cheese and two egg yolks. ( the separating-the-yolk-from-the-egg-white part was fuuun). Then the whipping cream!

I tossed the bacon into the hot pan with a little olive oil while the pasta was put into the boiling salted waterr.

When the bacon was brown and crisp, I added the onion, garlic, freshly ground pepper, then basil. Yum!

I tossed the pasta to the pan with the bacon and everything, took it from the heat then added the cheesy creamy sauce.

To the oven for about 10 mins...... then VOILA! Bacon Carbonara... HIHI.

The half part is cheesy, with melted french cheddar for my mom (bec I hate cheese) and the other is basil-y. Haha.

    YUM YUM.

aaand ofcourse, dessert!  SELECTA :)

Ergo, I roll my bangs.

Summer '11

Summer '11 can be described by a four-letter-not-really-a-real-word. BORA. :)

Very fine white sand. Hihi. First timer ofcourse.

It's the first time I went out of town for summer with my mom and my brotha. Helluva airplane ride, too roller coastery. If there is such a word.

All I did was eat, swim in the pool (my skin hates saltwater), watch tv, and play Monopoly on my iTouch. I was too lazy to stroll so I only go out if everyone else goes out. HAHA.

I swam everyday in this deep pool. Water's hot and there was least sunlight. :)

Aaand this one is my LAST henna tattoo. Last, because I am extremely allergic. I am currently taking up medication for a week now because my skin is literally burning. PAIN!

Lots of things we did as well. Like boating and helmet diving.

Fun indeed.
